ANGA is committed to preserving the privacy of the users and is compliant with current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). ANGA European Recruitment Ltd. stores only personal data provided by the "data subjects" themselves directly to ANGA or to other data providers and social networks that got that consent from the data subjects explicitly. The data will only be used for recruitment purposes and stored as long as the candidates are interested in career opportunities. The data security is guaranteed by the state of the art technology. We will use our best efforts to ensure that any information you submit to us remains private and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

Personal Data we collect

As used in this Privacy Notice, “personal data” means information that identifies job applicants and potential candidates for employment, either sent via email or submitted as part of online application and/or through alternative channels. To make the best use of our services it may be necessary for you to submit Personal Data to us such as your name, address, phone and e-mails details, work and educational history, achievements, etc. We usually collect personal data directly from you when you apply for a role, and occasionally also from third parties, such as professional recruiting firms, your references, prior employers, and employment background check providers, to the extent this is permitted by applicable law. We may also collect personal data about you online to the extent that you have made this information publicly available. For example, we may find your profile on professional social media websites (such as LinkedIn) and contact you about suitable roles.

You can in any time change or request the erasure of your personal data stored on ANGA databases sending us a Removal Request.

ANGA Recruitment Ltd. may use the Personal Data for the purposes we have notified to the Data Protection Registrar/Commissioner. By submitting your Personal Data you consent to it being processed by us and by our approved service providers. We may use this data to present job candidature to our client Companies but we will always notify the candidate is this happen. Individuals have the opportunity to send us their CV online. We guarantee that a CV will not appear on public internet but will be stored on our internal database to assist in offering career advice to the sender. We will make every effort to ensure that CVs are kept secure.

The legal basis by which we process your personal data

Our processing of your personal data as defined above is motivated by the following purposes and is based on the following reasons:

  • in part, to manage our relationship with you and our communications;
  • in part, on our legitimate interest in evaluating your application and to ensure that we recruit the appropriate employees and/or consultants, and to evaluate and maintain the efficacy of our recruiting process more generally;
  • in part, on our need to perform contractual and pre-contractual measures with respect to our relationship with you and with our clients;
  • in part, to comply with the law, when certain information is necessary to satisfy our legal or regulatory obligations.

Data recipients and international data transfers

Your personal data may be accessed by recruiters and interviewers working in the country where the position for which you are applying is based, as well as by recruiters and interviewers working in different countries. We may use third-party service providers to run our business and access to recruiting software systems. In such cases, in order to perform their jobs, also individuals performing administrative functions and IT personnel may have limited access to personal data that however is made anonymous. Occasionally we may also share data with other third-party service providers that may assist us in recruiting talent, administering and evaluating pre-employment screening and testing, and improving our recruiting practices.

We maintain processes designed to ensure that any processing of personal data by third-party service providers is consistent with this Privacy Notice and protects the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of your personal data. In particular, data is encrypted and anonymised.

Data retention

If you accept an offer of employment, any relevant personal data collected during your pre-employment period will become part of your personnel records and will be retained in accordance with specific country requirements. If we do not employ you, we may nevertheless continue to retain and use your personal data for a period of time for system administration purposes, to consider you for potential future roles and to perform research. Thereafter, we retain a minimal amount of your personal data to record your recruiting activity with us.

We may want to remain in contact with you and consider you for future employment opportunities. In such an event, we will seek your consent and interest to stay informed about possible future career opportunities, but if you wish to withdraw at any time, please contact us.
